I dedicate this book to the Lutheran and Assembly of God churches that my wife, family and I attended early in our Christian walk. And Northwest Bible Church, which my wife and I have attended for almost three decades. The Pastors and Elders of these churches have faithfully guided and encouraged us to follow Jesus. Two of the Assemblies Pastors, the late Happy Darneal (Houston) and the late Wayne Snyder (Midland), pointed us toward some of the loving kindnesses expressed in this book.
I also dedicate this book to my wife, Mary Beth and our three children, Wendy, Dan and Wes and their spouses and children.
