MY MOMENT OF SURVIVAL
How would you like to start?
Firstly, THANK YOU for spending your hard-earned money on this book. I created & wrote the “MY MOMENT” book series to tell an important story. It’s nonfiction and certainly not science fiction.
My story. My journey. It is immensely exciting to share it with you. My goals are to write about my journey with epilepsy & hope it resonates with you or a loved one. I want to make a difference in the world with my tales. I would love it if you could identify with my pain & life struggles. We all have the courage to live our lives with passion and pride.
My books changed my life. I had a purpose once again & it wasn’t looking forward to a television show, not including sports like the New York Giants, Mets, and St. John’s college basketball. I’m watching the NCAA Big East quarterfinals and praying that St. John’s beats Marquette. I watched sports with my daddy at a young age. I also played sports in grammar school and high school. I can’t
do either anymore because overexertion could bring on a seizure. My father passed away a year ago. I like to think that he would be proud of me for accomplishing something I had believed beyond my capabilities. He believed I was able to accomplish anything I put my mind to. He was honored and proud to have me as his daughter. I could see it in his eyes, and I was grateful to have forty-six years with him. He left an indelible mark on my soul. I only hope that when I see him again, I will be able to bring my books for him to read.
I have said that life happens when you aren’t looking and sometimes not the way you had planned. You can’t control many things, but you will always be able to control how you deal with getting knocked down. I suggest we all stand up and pay it forward. I hope you will stand up with me.
