Amazon Women Warriors: Superhero Women of Today is about a man, Quanah Morales, who has served in the United States Army and is from San Antonio, Texas. Quanah is Mexican American and Native American. He had worked on earning several college degrees from Grand Canyon University (GCU). His army career was fighting minor conflicts in Latin America, chasing after Pablo Escobar, and Helping the Colombian Government end narco-terrorism. His last battles were in Iraq, where his small unit was on patrol; he was ambushed and came under heavy fire from insurgents, somebody killed half of the team, and Quanah was seriously injured. Quanah was taken to a field army hospital, the medical transport to an Air Force hospital in Germany, and he then arrived at the San Antonio Medical Military Center in San Antonio. He received more treatment from military medical personnel at the hospital; he received the worst news: the army was giving him a medical discharge. It was hard for Quanah. Read more
